Richard

It’s hard to believe but I have been in the travel industry for over 20 years. In 2000 I was blessed to meet David & Nancy Parham. Together with their daughter Lori and eventually her husband Daric, we created something special in Ionosphere Tours. With the hard work and passion that goes into every tour, we hope every experience you have with us will be exceptional. I reside in Anderson, along with my wife and 3 daughters.

David

1990 was my first exposure to the Motorcoach tour business, after having been in construction for 24 years. I instantly enjoyed driving and doing tours with my wife, Nancy. In 2000 Nancy and I went into business with Richard Cannon as Ionosphere Tours. I still drive some, but my main job is to maintain the 5 Prevost buses that we have. We have stayed small enough to have the same “hands on” approach that keeps our quality high and allows the ability to treat our customers as our friends.

Nancy

Time certainly flies. It’s been 11 years since we started Ionosphere Tours. I am one of the owners, but I also act as a “mother hen” on the many of our tours. I have over 25 years of travel under my belt and continue to feel it is where God has “planted me”. I really enjoy helping to carry out all the plans on a tour, so that everyone can just relax and enjoy a worry free vacation. The opportunity to experience the beauty of our country with my husband, David and our travel friends, on a motorcoach or a cruise, remains a passion of mine. I have a job that I love, so I’ve never worked a day in my life!

Lori

In 2000, I began working with Richard, David and Nancy to start Ionosphere Tours as a Tour Coordinator.  Since working here I have had the pleasure of traveling to places I may never have had the opportunity to visit.  It has been a very rewarding experience.  I also serve as a Tour Director on a few trips each year.  I reside in Fair Play, SC with my husband Daric, who is the Motorcoach Manager for our company.

Daric

I joined Ionosphere Tours at the end of 2005, starting out washing and cleaning buses.  I worked my way up by learning the mechanics and working on our buses. I acquired my CDL license and drove my first trips by 2008.  As Motorcoach Manager, I am now in charge of dispatching all drivers, payroll tracking, school and client charter contracts, reporting of fuel taxes, drivers logs, and safety seminars for our drivers.  I enjoy working with my wife, Lori in the office, and the opportunity to travel several times each year.

Sunny

I have been working with Ionosphere Tours since January 2007. I started helping out by cleaning the motorcoaches and assisting on some of the tours. I now work in the office and do some part time escorting. I have really enjoyed working with everyone at Ionosphere and having the opportunity to do some traveling. I currently reside in Townville, SC with my husband of 8 years.
